This policy explains what information Village Trimlight, LLC ("Village Trimlight", "we", "us") collects when you use villagetrimlight.com, contact us, or become a customer; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, request service, apply for a job, call, text or email us, we collect what you provide. That typically includes your name, phone number, email address, home address, details about your home and the work you want done, and anything you write in a message.
Information from advertising forms. If you submit a lead form inside Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the details you entered on that form with us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and the advertising and analytics services described below automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site (for example, from an ad or a search), and actions you take such as submitting a form or tapping our phone number. Our quote forms also record the pages you viewed before submitting, so we understand how you found us.
Information from customers' jobs. For customers, we keep records of quotes, contracts, payments, installation details, photographs of the installation, warranty claims and service history.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare quotes, schedule and perform installations, and provide service and warranty support
- To send appointment, installation and service communications, including text messages (see Section 5)
- To process payments and keep business and tax records
- To file warranty claims with the manufacturer on your behalf
- To measure and improve our website and our advertising, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested in our services
- To comply with law and protect our rights
3. Cookies, pixels and advertising
Our website uses the following tracking technologies.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API. We use Meta's (Facebook and Instagram) pixel on our website, and we also send the same events directly from our web server to Meta through the Conversions API. These record events such as page views, quote-form submissions and taps on our phone number or email address. Where you enter contact details in a form, this technology converts them into a scrambled (hashed) form before sending, so Meta can match the activity to its own users. Meta uses this information to measure our ads, to show our ads to people who have visited our site, and to find people similar to our customers.
Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, and Google Ads measurement to see which ads lead to inquiries.
You can limit this tracking:
- Your browser: block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Meta: manage ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Google: manage ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com, and install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Interest-based advertising generally: optout.aboutads.info.
Our website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described here.
Service providers who run our business. We use trusted providers to operate our website and business, and they receive information only as needed to perform their service for us:
- Jobber: customer, quote, scheduling and invoicing records, and card payment processing
- Zapier: moves form submissions into our customer records and triggers notifications
- Twilio: delivers text messages
- WPForms: runs the forms on our website
- Google: email delivery, analytics, advertising measurement, and website backups
- DigitalOcean: web hosting
- Meta: advertising and lead forms, as described in Section 3
The manufacturer. When we file a warranty claim for your system, we share your name, installation address, installation details, and relevant product information with Trimlight. Registering your system with Trimlight is done by you, directly on Trimlight's website, under Trimlight's own privacy policy.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
Business transfer. If our business is sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
5. Text messaging (SMS)
When you give us your mobile number on our website, on a Facebook or Instagram lead form, or in a quote, you consent to receive text messages from Village Trimlight about your inquiry, quote, appointments, installation and service.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call (352) 781-0569.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We do not share your mobile number, text messaging opt-in data, or consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.
6. How long we keep information
We keep customer records for as long as needed to honor warranties, provide service, and meet tax and legal requirements. Inquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to three years and then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
7. Security
Our website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to customer information is limited to people who need it to do their job. We do not collect card numbers through this website. Card payments are handled by our payment processor through Jobber. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
You can at any time:
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it
- Ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it to honor a warranty, complete a job or meet a legal requirement
- Opt out of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link, or out of text messages by replying STOP

9. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, including Trimlight and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
